This beautiful ambery perfume was made for Harrods, celebrating this most iconic of London departments stores. Situated now on Brompton Road, Harrods has iconic status as a one of kind destination for the ultimate luxury shopping experience. A retail extravaganza of exclusive brands, restaurants, bespoke services and haute customer care. Boadicea the Victorious was initially launched in Harrods’ famous Black Hall Perfumery in 2008 and is now located in the Salon de Parfum on the sixth floor, in its own room amid the crystal chandeliers and marble floors. Majestic is a perfect interpretation of the Harrods, the sensual shock and awe of the luxurious shopping experience. The perfume overflows with a selection of beautifully calibrated materials, creating a lavish mix of woods, fruits, narcotic florals, subtle woods, vanilla all poured over saffron-laced amber. There is a big rush of cardamom and juicy red fruits as Majestic opens, mixed with the pungent resins of labdanum. It is a statement opening, fizzing and sharpened with lemon. An earthy mix of saffron, clove and cinnamon smell like spiced earth. Allied with a rich leather aspect the mix is perfectly balanced by a potent bouquet of ylang-ylang, muget and rose. The beauty of Majestic lies in the grandiose positioning of the notes and subsequent exaltation of the glossy fruits down into a compelling ground of musks, cocoa-tinted patchouli, oud, vanillic woods and of amber.  A touch of moss and tonka round off an extravagant recipe of luxuriant notes and effects. Like Harrods itself, Majestic is about immersion in sensual overload and subsequent balancing to revel in the experience.
