Blue Sapphire Supercharged

Part of the magisterial Sapphire Collection of gem-inspired perfumes, the original Blue Sapphire was a dewy floral, rosaceous and piquant with oud weather, sparkling lemon and the herbaceous scent of marigolds. It was created in honour of the 65th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, blue sapphire being the celebratory gemstone. A swooning heart of dewy rose, jasmine and creamy magnolia is backed with supple leather.

Blue Sapphire Supercharged, in a beautiful blue bottle is the pumped-up companion to Blue Sapphire, the same compelling dark oud, patchouli and amber earthy base supporting a more dynamic, lush heart of raspberry, rose and Indian jasmine. Cardamom and juicy orange have been added to swell out the zesty warmth and a generous whoosh of aldehydes floor the top notes and fizz softly throughout the scent.

The original’s herbaceous triptych of chamomile, sage and tagetes flowers has been removed allowing a sleeker more ambitious composition.
