1907 represents the qualities and ideals of the store's founders, brother and sister duo Herbert Marcus and Carrie Marcus Neiman. Retail pioneers of their time, they readily identified consumer desire for a shopping experience that was luxurious and unique with an unparalleled product offering. They created a store with an abundance of art & theatre - it was a place of joy - a playground to be experienced. Neiman Marcus was an industry leader.
Much like Boadicea the Victorious, their commitment to an elevated customer experience ensured an innovative and reactive mindset. Hosting hotly anticipated events combined with extravagant marketing campaigns, they were focused on creating luxury as an experience. It is this ethos that is championed at Boadicea and celebrated within the launch of 1907.
