Burj Al Arab

Across the newly opened terrace of the world’s only “seven-star” hotel, bathed in the warm November sunshine, were parked 50 of the most amazing cars on the planet.

This was the scene at Dubai’s iconic Burj-al-Arab hotel, set on the edge of the ocean, as Boadicea the Victorious joined to support the inaugural Gulf Concours, the Emirates’ first Concours d’Elegance event.

More than 2,000 invitation-only guests attended the three-day event, officially opened by Prince Michael of Kent, celebrating all that is best in both the modern and classic automobile industry.

The vehicles on display included the world’s most expensive car, a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO which has been valued at more than £40million. Other highlights included Gilles Villeneuve’s 1982 Ferrari Formula One car, as well as a 1954 Ferrari 250 GT Competition Berlinetta Sport Speciale, made to order for Hollywood star Ingrid Bergmann.

At Boadicea the Victorious we were proud to be one of the exclusive sponsors of the event, standing alongside luxury car brands such as Aston Martin, Bentley, McLaren, and Rolls Royce, as well as luxury watchmaker Vacheron Constantin.

We hope you enjoy this selection of pictures from three beautiful days in Dubai.
