PERFUME DESCRIPTION
One of the bestselling Boadicea the Victorious perfumes, Bodacious, is a powerful after-hours blend of rich floral seduction flavoured with tawny cognac, almonds, musk and a haze of soft tobacco. Uncompromising and defiantly sensual, it is a perfume of intense mood and charm.
Bodacious opens with gourmand flourishes of cherry and almond. Cherry and almond trees are members of the same genus, so the mix of scents is serendipitous. There is a resulting echo of benzaldehyde, the distinctive ingredient used in cherry soda. With a dusting of spiced clove and an evening firelit swirl of cognac, Bodacious plunges into a beautiful bouquet of jasmine sambac, Moroccan rose oil and the powdery cherry pie scent of heliotrope. The gourmand-soaked flowers shimmer quietly, further exalted by malted sandalwood and white tobacco, merely the fleeting whiff on fingertips as opposed to anything overtly ashtray.
It serves to beguile, suggesting a touch of sin. Amber, tonka and vanilla are further adornments as Bodacious develops on skin. The fusion of gourmand notes and rich florals, especially the plush Moroccan rose is bewitching, illuminating the trademark Boadicea the Victorious steeliness and warrior intensity. An addictive delight to wear from start to finish, Bodacious is pure perfume drama.
